MINNEAPOLIS, MN-The URBAN MAVEN SMALL BUSINESS SHOWCASE will debut Saturday, December 20, 2008 from 10am-5pm at Trocaderos Restaurant and Event Center located at 107 Third Avenue North in Minneapolis. The Showcase will feature local businesses with an array of products and services ranging from aromatherapy, baked goods, jewelry, purses and fashion; unique handmade gifts, cosmetics and more!
URBAN MAVEN SMALL BUSINESS SHOWCASE is a mobile marketplace designed for small and/or home based businesses debuting just in time for the holidays. The event designed for the serious small business owner, will be held on a quarterly basis at various venues. The event will also feature business experts who will offer pointed tips on managing small business, technology, marketing and more!
The scheduled special guest speaker for December 20, 2008, is Minneapolis’ Tene Wells, president of Women Venture, a non-profit organization that offers resources to budding business owners. She will offer a brief key note, BRASS TACKS: The keys to operating a successful business!
The URBAN MAVEN SMALL BUSINESS SHOWCASE will prove to be a fun, warm shopping environment complete with a STRESS FREE zone featuring local massage therapists, a fashion trunk show, drink & appetizer specials and more!
