Making Friends of Your Enemies - Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s Message

On Friday, April 11th at the Minneapolis Convention Center Auditorium Twin City Business was given the once in a lifetime opportunity to hear Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s message which was Making Friends of Your Enemies.

Bishop Tutu’s profound speech was simple and to the point…”ALL”. “We are all brothers and sisters and responsible for each other’s wellbeing. We are not single beings. I can’t live life without you, nor you live without me, we all are brothers and sisters no matter what color – from the homeless person on the street to the richest man in the world, we are responsible for each other”.

The Archbishops views brought standing ovations when he was finished.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s visit was facilitated by a collaboration between the United Way, PeaceJam and Metropolitan State University’s Lecture Series.
