University of Minnesota - All the “Wrong” Stuff for North Minneapolis!

Twin City Business has told the community about the University of Minnesota from the “Stop Smoking Program” that was actually a program where researchers went into homes to “screen for domestic violence and take urine samples from the children” to the Urban Research and Outreach Center (UROC).
If you haven’t run a “shoeshine” shop, how can you come in the community and talk about economic stimuli, healthcare and housing…you don’t have the education!
The education giant sent…..
THE WRONG TEAM!!!!!!!!
They had the wrong team on the field. The people they had on the field where out of step with the community. Example Robert Jones, Craig Taylor, Irma McClaurin among others rode in the community and projected themselves as BIG me and LITTLE you, this in my judgment is an example of the BLACK SOUTHERN SEVERE STRATIFICATION MIND SET. (Robert Jones after numerous attempts would not return phone calls until force to by the president of U of M), this attitude and behavior was met with great hostility and deem unacceptable. The so called entrepreneur program was a joke, (Based on a 4-H training model for the urban community), failure to answer question at community meetings, by using tactics such as “put you questions in writing”. Questions were submitted in writing and still went unanswered. Our urban community must be careful in assuming based on ones education or place of work makes them knowledgeable. This is not the case.
